Virginia Beach boasts 35 miles of beaches. This is only one of many reasons so many people are visiting and moving to this city. Virginia Beach draws 2.7 million tourists per year and was named the FBI’s safest city of its size in America. Many people who visit it end up making it their home. Besides its beaches and tourist attractions, Virginia Beach has so much more to offer.

Naval Air Station Oceana, nestled within the county, is home to the Navy’s master jet base. The annual air show at N.A.S. Oceana is a popular attraction throughout Hampton Roads.

Having both a tourist environment and a suburban environment makes this city a unique place to live. Tourists and residents alike can be viewing dolphins in the surf one hour and dine at their favorite restaurant the next. With so many things to do, it is no wonder tourist keep coming back.
